If the group size is large we are going to look for a volunteer to act as a sweeper. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line and will make sure the group stays together.
Noah will be leading this hike. Noah will not be waiting for late people. In fairness to those who arrive on time, the hike will start on time.
What to bring:
Hiking boots are strongly recommended and 2 liters of water is required. Hiking boots will help you tackle the rocks we will be climbing over.
Heavy precipitation will cancel this hike but drizzle may not. Please check your inbox for updates and the NJYP.org calendar. Tickets will be refunded.
Take the Palisades Interstate Park north from the George Washington Bridge. Continue for 1.7 miles beyond Exit 2, and turn right at a sign for the State Line Lookout. Follow the access road for about half a mile until it ends at a large parking lot near the lookout. (If you are coming from the north on the Parkway, bear left just beyond Exit 3 and follow the signs for the lookout).
