Event Description

Let us help you get out on a Saturday morning! On the edge of Morristown, this historical park provides a scenic and easy hike for us to enjoy. We will hike an easy trail through forest and past historic recreations of soldier’s huts from the Revolutionary War (winter of 1779-1780). The trail is relatively flat with only small uphill and downhill so it is perfect for beginners.

After our adventure the group will go out for a healthy lunch at http://www.thehealthshoppes.com/contactus.html (Morristown location) Please bring directions with you.

Specs:
The hike is classified as easy and should take 2-2.5 hours.
The total length of the hike will be between 4 and 5 miles long and we will walk at an easy pace.
This hike is good for beginners!
As with all hikes you must be in reasonable athletic shape.

Nelly - I hope you are ok!  I'll tell David you might not make it. Thanks for letting me know.

Hi Laura, I already rsvp'd but not sure if I'll be able to make it. I had a car accident today and haven't figured out and don't know what's going on with my car yet and not sure I'll be able to get the rental in time to make the hike. If everything works out for me tomorrow can I still make it or would you prefer I cancel my rsvp? I'm probably trying to fit too much for tomorrow morning

I remember this being a really nice hike, but I've been driving all over NJ for work, so I'm going to stay local.  Hope to make the next one.
