Event Description

Every year, thousands of people gather along the shore of the Delaware in Lambertville for the annual Shad Festival, a celebration of food, the arts, the community...and the shad fish. This moderately easy hike will start upriver in Stockton, take us along both sides of the Delaware River on the canal paths and mid-hike, we'll walk across the river to Lambertville! Afterward, the group can vote on whether to return to the festival or go for a late lunch and drinks...either option is sure to be fun!

Please note that the Shad Festival runs from 12.30 to 5.30pm. Depending on the pace of our hike, we may or may not hike right through the festival!

Hi Laura,

Is this open to non-member guests of members also?  I have tentative plans with a friend that day but we don't know what we're doing yet and this looks perfect!

Thanks! -Gina
