 \n\nLaura\n</b>\n\nOn Thanksgiving you eat a bird, the day after you c
 hase after birds! This hike is for those who want to avoid the malls a
 nd the road rage while working off some post-Thanksgiving weight gain.
 \n\nGrab your cameras and binoculars (if you have them) and join us fo
 r our yearly hike up to the <a href=\"http://www.njfishandwildlife.com
 /wldcthwk.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Hawk Watch</a>. Based on the migrati
 on schedule we should be able to spot several different types of hawks
  and if we are lucky we will even see some wild turkeys (no promises b
 ut we are going to try).\n\nSpecs:\nThe hike is classified as easy to 
 moderate and is about 2.4 miles long.\nThe hike should take 2 hours.\n
 As with all hikes you must be in good, athletic shape.\n\nMember Cost:
 \n$5 for the first 10 to buy a ticket\n$10 for the next 11-25 to buy a
  ticket\n$20 at the door (so please register online)\n\nNon-Member Cos

 are a limited number of Tickets for sale.\nTickets are not mailed, but
  your name will be kept at the door.\nActual hike is subject to change
  depending on weather conditions, fallen trees, etc.\nAll sales are fi
 nal.\n\nSweeper:\nIf we have a large group we will ask for 2 volunteer
 s to act as sweepers. Sweepers will walk at the end of the hike line a
 nd will make sure the group stays together.\n\nHike Leader:\nNoah will
  be leading this hike. He may do a trial run of the hike to make sure 
 the trails are clean, etc.\n\nWhat to bring:\nHiking boots and water (
 required).\nSnacks, a light lunch, etc.\nBinoculars.\nToilet paper, ti
 ssues, plastic bags for garbage, etc.\n\nInclement Weather:\nHeavy rai
 n will cancel this hike but drizzle may not. Please check your inbox f

 ections:\nTake Interstate Route 80 to Exit 37 (Hibernia/Rockaway) and 
 bear left at the end of the ramp. Continue north on Green Pond Road (C
 ounty Route 513) for 6.5 miles and turn right onto Upper Hibernia Road
 . (If coming from the north, you can take Route 23 to Green Pond Road,
  head south for 3.7 miles, and turn left onto Upper Hibernia Road.) Fo
 llow Upper Hibernia Road for 2.5 miles to the end of the paved portion
  of the road. Continue ahead for a short distance, turn left just past
  Brunache Road, and park in the wide gravel area.\n\nHow to find the g
