Hey friends, thought I'd throw in my two cents about this in case anyone's interested/on the fence.

Pro:

-fun networking opportunity, meet people who are at various stages of pursuing an MBA

-lots of schools represented

-free

-many schools' ad reps offer free application vouchers, so instant free app to a bunch of schools

Con:

-like any kind of job/school fair, it's pretty difficult to get a sense of the nuances that actually make each school unique. for finding actual info about MBAs or grad schools, you're probably better off doing online research (websites, forums, reddit, etc, Bloomberg rankings, Poets and Quants).

-your inbox will probably get tons of mail from schools you're not even remotely interested in

Overall, it was a fun networking experience with the minor benefit of some free applications, but I can't say I really learned much about the MBA process or even particular schools. That being said, I think I'm still 2-4 years removed from seriously pursuing an MBA program, so others will definitely feel differently.
