Event Description

Help us help them! Art All Night is in need of HUNDREDS of volunteers. We will be doing our best to fill some of the volunteer gaps they may have at this great event. As a volunteer you will get to mix and mingle with other volunteers (both NJYP and Non-NJYP) plus you will get to check out the event once your shift is over.

About Art All Night:
“Art All Night is a 24-hour art extravaganza with food vendors, demonstrations, hundreds of works of art, and a goal of building community and awareness for the local arts & artists to revitalize the city of Trenton! Last year we showed over 800 works of art, welcomed over 10,000 people, and gave members of the community a place to express themselves.”

How to Register as an NJYP Volunteer:
* Go here http://www.artworkstrenton.org/artallnight/volunteer.htm
* Click the red box where it says “click here for online volunteer registration”
* Where it says “I prefer to work with” type “NJ Young Professionals” (add your friend’s name if you are going with someone)
* Check off “SHIFT 1: Saturday, June 18: 3:00p.m. – 6:00 p.m.”

They are going to do their BEST to keep the NJYP volunteers together but this is not always possible. Be prepared to possibly NOT be with those from NJYP.

What to Wear:
Dress comfortably, especially when it comes to your shoes.
Leave your valuables at home.

How to Find the Volunteers:
All volunteers will need to report directly to the volunteer headquarters upon arrival. Let them know you are with New Jersey Young Professionals.

Comment by Steven Holtzman on June 14, 2011 at 7:51pm: I just tried signing up and I don't see Shift 1 as an option. Is this shift full for this event? I filled out the form anyway and wrote that I would like Shift 1 in the comments box. I'll wait and see if I get a response...
