Auditions - Any Actors in Bergen/Hudson county area?

I have written a One Act comedy called 'When You're Not Looking". It will be produced at the Players Guild of Leonia NJ One Act Weekend on June 11, 12 at 8PM and June 13 at 3PM. Clauadia MacDermott will be directing.

Auditions will be held Mon April 26, Tues 27, and Wed 28 at 7:30 at the Civil War Drill Hall Theatre. We are looking for younger actors (2 male, 2 female) that can play 20s - early 30s on stage.

Description: Tony is reminded of his lack of a true love while attending a wedding. Even with his friend's support, will Tony ever find the love he's been loving for?

CHARACTERS:

TONY – Male. A normal all around nice guy. Must be able to play mid to early 30s on stage

DANNY – Male.vTony’s friend. Must be able to play mid to early 30s on stage

VICTORIA – Female. Married to Danny. Late 20s early 30s

HANNAH – Female. Wedding guest. young, attractive must play early 20s on stage

I agree. Sounds like a fun play, but I have no experience (unless elementary school counts lol)

I'm an actor and live in Hudson County. Can you tell me a little bit more about the show and characters? What do you expect the rehearsal schedule to be like? Thanks.

Hi Erica,
I only wrote the show, I am not directing it so I cannot comment on the rehearsal schedule/nights of rehearsal. The only thing the director told me is that there will PROBABLY only be about 2 nights of reschedule per week until the week when the show is performed. It is a one act comedy approx 15 minutes in length. The character breakdown and plot summary in the thread above pretty much says it all. Auditions are in Leonia tonight (4/27) and tomorrow (4/28)
