Beach Trip - Day and Night on the Jersey Shore
I have a confession to make - I'm an awful New Jersyian - I haven't been to a beach in well over three years. Ack!
I want to rectify that this summer, but want to get a group to go with. I'm thinking one Saturday (I know it's more crowded on weekends, but I work 45+ hours a week and can't go on a weekday) we can go to a NJ beach, have a great time, and stay for dinner and then the night life on the Jesey Shore. Just preferably without Snooki.
Who's in? All welcome, especially NJYP newbies.

I'm free every weekend in August right now... So the 7th is best, the 14th is ok but could do better on choice, the 21st is good, and the 28th is also great.
If theres too many people that want to avoid Saturday, I MIGHT be able to take off a Friday, but no promises.

Alright, I've talked to Dar in our chatroom (yes we have a chatroom for NJYP) and she's pretty much busy most of August. Sorry Dar, but I'm gonna go with the 14th. That being said, I don't mind going to the beach more than once, so if someone wants to plan another trip, I'm down.
So the 14th of August = Jersey Shore! What beach? The last time I went down to a beach area was Seaside and I was overwhelmed by the NYers greasin up the place. So hopefully we can find something with a better beach/nightlife than seaside.

Hey guys! Since I live here at the shore, I'd recommend going somewhere in Point Pleasant because the beach is nice (some are free) and you'll avoid some of the Island Beach conjestion (not to mention jelly fish and green head flies-- ouch!). Plus, there are a lot of great restaurants and a beautiful boardwalk to go to. Set your headquarters around Jenkinsons. You could even do the aquarium.
That's my 2 cents. :-)
PS... why does everyone feel the need to call me "Snookie" just because my name is Nicole and I live at the shore? LOL!

Alright, that sounds good, and you're always raving about Jenks as a good bar/nightlife place. Think you'd be down for joining us at the beach Nicole?
So the 14th is out - anyone down for, say, the 7th instead? Does that intefere with anything big? How about for you Katie?

Yeah the 7th is my family reunion luau! the 21st is my brother's birthday. Either the 22 or 29th is some picnic im invited to, the 28th i'm running a race in NYC and the 31st is my birthday lol. August is busy!

Friends started calling me Snooki as soon as that show aired! I don't get it. Haha!
The 7th is out for me because I've got a hot date with my man Chris Daughtry. When you have something planned, I'll see what's on my agenda. I'm at the beach on a regular basis anyway, so I'll see what I can do. :-)
