Branchbrook Park Cherry Blossom Festival, April 9-17

Spring is just around the corner, I hope...  so check out Branchbrook Park in Newark, NJ. It has one of the largest collection of cherry blossom trees, more than Washington, DC.

On April 17th is the Branch Brook Park Cherry Blossom Festival Bloomfest, there will be all kinds of activities, vendors and Japanese cultural events.

Ahhh, I missed it, such a nice day too :(.  I should visit the forum more...
I missed it too! I hope everyone had a great time!
I didn't arrive till after 1pm as well due to traffic ect. I did find Larry an hour late by chance. It was a fun afternoon. There is a hike in Chester on the 30th that is a really nice place to hike if your looking for something fun outside to do.

It was an easy hike, just the three of us.  Also an excellent Taiko/dance troupe.

Only real complaint:  no grilled squid, takoyaki or other Japanese street food.
