Get out. Make friends. Meet people in NJ.

With the third explosion turning the Japanese tsunami into a nuclear nightmare, I thought it'd be helpful to provide a list of ways we can help the survivors.

thanks, steve. i would like to make a donation!

Thanks, Rachel!

I know it sounds corny, but it's true... If we all chip in a little bit, we can all make a big difference together.  :-)

Here is a how-to I worked on for wikiHow this past Friday along with a bunch of other people at a wiki conference I organized out in Boston:

http://www.wikihow.com/Help-Earthquake-Victims-in-Japan

It's pretty extensive, but you can think of any other ways to help the earthquake victims, please feel free to hit the edit button and add them. If you have problems adding things, please feel free to send me a note. There are similar articles for Pakistan and Haiti as well.

Here are a few things that I found: https://www.facebook.com/papercranesforjapan and http://ladygaga.shop.bravadousa.com/Product.aspx?cp=14781_42444&....  As much as I don't like Lady Gaga (though to be honest,my one guilty pleasure is her song "Just Dance"), this is another really nice idea.
Thanks for the Red Cross text tip!
My company raised $4,300 in one day.  I even got an email from Nissan (my car is a Nissan) asking car owners to donate and Nissan would match dollar for dollar up to $10,000.  Nice right?
Tracy that is really great! My company does the match donation as well and its great to help anyway possible. Would love to do something with NJYP to raise money.
