Hey All,

I am planning the Sundress and Tie Parties for the summer of 2011.

Let me know what venues in NJ have patio space or open air space (plenty of big open windows).  MUST fit around 100 to 150 people so think BIG.

Thanks,

Laura

PS, MUST serve alcohol :)  I already have a park saved for our annual picnics.

The Barnyard and Carriage House in Totowa (Passaic County) has a big patio with an outdoor bar.  They've also got a couple of sand volleyball courts and horseshoes.  I haven't been there for a big event, but the beer and burgers were good when I went for dinner.

Didn't Solar do Minho, where we had a few Union County Happy Hours, have a big courtyard with fire pits and the like?

Laura..

I love Ridgewood...Blend Bar.

Blackthorne Pub in Kenilworth NJ

Bella Napoli in Bloomfield NJ

Blackthorne Pub in Kenilworth is great...and they have a new patio..

Michele

Michele- All of these places have outdoor space that will fit 100+?

Cloverleaf Tavern in Caldwell has a pretty sizable patio that connects to their rear dining room (the wall rolls up, so that whole room is open-air.)  Between the two, it should hold enough people.  Of course, parking is sometimes tricky.

Not sure if they accommodate these types of events, but Palm Bar has a huge outdoor area and can definitely fit everyone indoors and out.

I know Blend has an outdoor patio almost the size if not the size of Pazzo Pazzo??And the Blackthorne I think definitely does...check with..But, I think both are the size of Pazzo Pazzo's patio.

I absolutely LOVED the Liberty House last year!  Please have one there again this year! :o)
This place in Totowa is fun, I've been there before! I second Kev's suggestion.

Evelyn's was awesome in New Brunswick last year. The biggest complaint was out of their hands- the massive heat that caused it to be 8 billion degrees.

I highly recommend Watermark in Asbury Park. The second floor would have a view into the Stone Pony  if there's a concert later that night. Incredible ocean view. People can wander to any number of awesome bars within walking distance. The beach is RIGHT THERE. There's a hotel across the street. And the place in general has gorgeous decor. Yeah, I would LOVE to have a party at watermark.

The Armory in Perth Amboy might be nice. It's right on the waterfront.
