Beyond family, friends, and health what unique things are you thankful for? Perhaps your favorite kitchen knife? Sleeping in? A good hair day?

This is totally weird, but I love the way my dog smells.  He doesn't have that typical "dog" smell.  In fact, I think Griffin smells like an oatmeal cookie and my few and far between relaxing moments, cuddled up with him on my couch is the quirky thing I'm most thankful for.

Wow - just me?  Laura - I think my quirk scared them off!

I am thankful for freshly sliced American Cheese! Who knew it could be so much better than those pre-packaged slices we all grew up on!

I am thankful for apple juice.  It just makes life better!

I am thankful for the recipe for double-peanut butter brownies on the back of every bag of Reese's peanut butter chips . . . and I think a few other folks here are thankful for it too!

I am thankful for ThunderCats. Don't hate; you know you watch it!

I am thankful for my MetroCard because cabs get expensive after eight blocks in the city.

I am thankful my next trip to Las Vegas is deductible.

Days I get home from work and it's light outside. Those are too few and far in between which means I was thankful for today!

I am thankful to no longer work nights in a hospital and therefore have to choose WHICH day of a holiday weekend I would prefer to work knowing I would have to work every other holiday or observance.  More appreciative now to those who must work holidays like these.

I am a "Quirky" person, period. Don't hate...

As far as what I am thankful, I have my awesome tastebudds from my father. I go above and beyond... Mayonnoise on my pizza, all Game foods, I smoke Cigars, box of freeze dried Crickets and Larvas, Anchoives on anything and Scorpion Lollipops...

Hehee :-)

I invite you all to smell my dog.  But no noming him!

I'll steal him...
