After my awesome Skydiving adventure in 2009, I wanted to do more challenging and fun activities to live my life to the fullest. I heard about Zip Lining and been wanting to go for a while. Anyone have suggestions on where is the best place to go? Let me know.

Hi Jahnavi,

If you find a place let me know...I would be interested in this activity.

I don't know of  zip lining around here, however there is a trapeze school in the city.
Sure I'll keep you posted.

Im interested.  Please let me know if you find a place!!

It will be sometime in the summertime...will update here when I know more. Thanks for the interest.
Hopefully this group will help you pull a better event together,
This place was pretty awesome This was my first and only zip lining adventure.  I went on the tree tops canopy tour only because the new river gorge canopy tour wasn't made yet.  It was fun as long as you like heights, I felt safe, b/c you are connected at all times.  The tour was scenic and refreshing I would like to go back to do both of them someday.  Unfortunately, it's far, however, I dont think you can beat the experience!

Although it is not in New Jersey, Alley Pond Park in Queens (accessible by public transportation and plenty of free parking in the park) offers a free outdoor adventure course with zipline on Sundays.  Here is the link:

Free programs are available for individuals aged 8 and above on a first–come, first-served basis on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., May through November (weather permitting). Preregistration is not required. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m and 1:00 p.m. If you are with a large group you may be turned away or you may not be placed with the other members of your group.) Crowds are expected.

Thanks for the info.

Zip lining has been on my bucket list for quite some time! my dream is to zip line in Costa Rica, but maybe for my first time it may be wise to start a tad closer to home.  Please keep me up to date if there are any trips planned in the future. I am def. in!

I did zip lining out in costa rica and it was awesome and would like to do it again.  They have zip lining at hunter mountain but I haven't tried it before.  That is the closest one that I know of.
