Our client is a national provider of business solutions, which include system implementations, consulting and various training platforms with the goal of enhancing best practices. We are seeking a smart, energetic and articulate professional to serve as an ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER for our company headquartered in Elmwood Park, NJ (THIS IS NOT A SALES ROLE). We offer a 3 month training program to learn our product before you represent us in the field at our client locations. This person must have their own transportation and be available to travel to client locations (all travel expenses will be taken care of by employer).


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn our product and be able to give a comprehensive overview of the product after 3 months of training
  • Act as a liaison for our corporate office, Project Managers and client locations
  • Travel to client locations to provide hands-on support on our product to clients’ end users
  • Manage site projects assigned by the Project Manager
  • Conduct product training to individual end users as necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates must have exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Candidates must be available to travel both locally and domestic which may include overnight for up to 3 nights at a time (client pays for all travel expenses)
  • Candidates must be technically savvy and be able to navigate through and learn various computer software
  • BS or AS Degree is preferred
  • Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Product training experience is a big plus
  • Ability to work well individually
  • Must have vehicle in order to get to local destinations

Pay is $16 - $18 per hour with time and a half for any overtime. Would consider individuals with more experience but pay is based on experience.

Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are both saying the Energy business is the next big money maker. Incase you weren’t informed the entire USA will be deregulating the energy business meaning that YOU and the other 300 million Americans will now have a choice who to their electricity from. This is similar to when the government regulated the phone companies and then new young companies were able to emerge like Verizon and AT&T. Don’t you wish you were able to invest in them when they were just starting. This person will be responsible for Federal, State and Local income and sales/use tax returns and implications of proposed business transactions and tax legislation.

Assemble qualified research expenses for the Research & Experimentation credit calculation as well as the income tax provision preparation/ alculation and related analysis.

Maintenance of Vertex sales and use tax compliance system.

Analyzes and review communications to and from taxing authorities as prepared by external tax

consultants relating to audits and controversy.

Maintain Tax Calendar for compliance due dates.

Create and implement Corporate transfer pricing decisions Research and planning related to the US and international operations.

Responsibilities:

Corporate Income Tax returns Manage outside tax firm Oversee tax audits Sales & use tax returns Maintain Tax Calendar Vertex State and Local sales and use tax Monitor communications with taxing authorities and advisors Make recommendations Transfer pricing analyses Credit Calculations Calculate tax provisions.

Minimum of 7 years combined experience in a public accounting or private company capacity. International tax exposure is a plus.
