Two years ago I was bored watching TV and praying that my co-workers would have a happy hour or get together outside of work. It was tough being a single guy in his last twenties and not being able to meet new people.

When [NJYP] found me on Friendster, I was hesitant but definitely ready to meet new people. My life has changed immensely. I gave up watching American Idol and playing Fantasy Football, I stopped stressing about work and family, and I gained more friends than I can count.

I've made many great friends through NJYP. A+++ Would do again!

NJYP has introduced me to people that I would otherwise not have met. It has developed into more then a basic networking group, it has become a support system both professionally and socially for all of us trying to establish ourselves.

I moved to Essex County from NYC and knew no one around except for my boyfriend and his friends. I came across an ad for NJYPナ and decided to join. I'm so glad that I did! I have met many interesting people in the group and made many friends. It's a great group to join if you're new to the area and want to meet people, whether you're single or in a relationship.

Being in my mid 30s there arenメt real opportunities to make new friends and find fun things to do. When [NJYP] contacted me last Summer after I graduated from Grad school, I really wasnメt sure what to expect. In October I posted a listing looking for musicians. 6 months later because of my connections made via NJYP Iメm now in a band with a bunch of nice people, and we play every week and have a great time.

When I first joined NJYP I wasn't sure what to expect. But then I bit the bullet and started going to the different events and I realized I was having great times with awesome people. NJYP has opened up whole new worlds for me. I recommend NJYP to anyone and everyone.

To be honest, my life changed completely when I joined NJYP.  I moved from PA to northern NJ after a very busy, social, and involved experience at my college.  By the time I stumbled across NJYP, I was extremely frustrated with the complete lack of a social life or hobbies in my "adult" life, and most of all, I was desperate for girl friends!  I feel so fortunate that I not only found a fun organization, but also found an incredible group of people who not only share, but also expand my interests.  I've been an NJYP member for 16 months and have loved every minute of it!  I recommend NJYP to all the young professionals I know.

I moved here from Worcester for work - Fresh out of college and not a soul in the world to spend anytime with. In this day and age that's virtually impossible to fix - it's not socially normal to just go and talk to strangers all over the place. What was worse is that I was quite the socially anxious person.

A coworker introduced my to NJYP and recommended me to it.  I showed up to one event and got hooked. I'm about a year in now and have had amazing itmes and made incredible friends. I'm no longer anxious and just love going out and meeting new people. It's a damned breeze in NJYP.

Your first event may be scary. Hell, I know I was terrified for mine. But NJYP people tend to be incredibly nice and open to new people. Swing on by and you will most certainly meet some awesome people.

I have just moved here from Boston where I was involved in many networking organizations like this. This is the most organized group I have been apart of and I have very much enjoyed the activities. Thanks for making the transition easier with the events and smiles! Keep up the great work!
