I'm sure we'll get a chance to meet soon, yes. I'm eyeballing the B&W party and Animal Shelter events after the new year. :)
It's great to be going against traffic in the summer here, yeah haha. And I might be at any of the OC Library branches on a given day, so it's nice to get to drive to LBI on a work order. Just not great to drive back from there :P
I work for the Ocean County Library (Tech Dept) so I'm one of those lucky people who commute south to work, to Toms River. ;)
I've done a few of the happy hours, but didn't get to any events for a few months while I was dating somebody (the schedule didn't work out). So it feels like I'm starting over!
Life can't get much better than working in NYC and returning home to the fresh, salty air of the Jersey Shore. I'm VERY curious to hear some funny stories from the APP. To be sure, advertising is a tough sell right now, but things will definitely pick up. BTW - Did they finish the Victorinox store at the Jersey Shore outlets? ;)
Nice. I love the Asbury Park Press! I'm still living in Monmouth County (Tinton Falls), but I've traded in my beach chair for the concrete jungle of Manhattan for work. Are you a reporter? My aunt is an editor for the Press of Atlantic City and she loves it.
