Looking sharp in the suit Gary!!!

Come to the Holiday Party Saturday, since you have no problem wearing a suit and tying a tie, lol.

What's the 5 year plan, if you don't mind me asking? Getting your own place??

I am scared to ask- What the Heck are you wearing on your suit????? I design flowers for weddings. 1 Cala Lily is all you needed to wear. LOL Hope to not offend anyone.....

You have no idea. We have so many cases of teachers getting involved in "relationships" with students. And, it's often young kids (13 or 14 years old) that are involved ......very disturbing. Usually, the ones that get caught will voluntarily surrender their certificates. But, more often than you would think, they fight the revocation. They're insane.

That's fantastic that you were able to travel AND have your tuition covered. I'm saddled with student loans from law school. It seems like it is going to take forever to pay them off. So, where did you travel to?

Yes, I do practice law. I am a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey. I am in the Education Section. So, I represent the NJ Dept. of Educ. and its various subs in legal matters. I do a lot of teacher revocation cases - it's crazy the kinds of things that teachers do and, presumably, think they can get away with.

National Guard, huh? How long have you been in the NG? And, what exactly does that entail?

I'm with you on the commute. I was an associate at a law firm in Newark. Took the Northeast Corridor line to Newark Penn Station everyday. That was bad enough.....I had to get out of there after about a year. I can only imagine commuting downtown everyday. It's amazing that you pulled it off for two years!

Glad to hear the crazies didn't get you on campus. So, does that mean you were basically confined to campus? And, if you weren't, what is there to do in W.V.? I admittedly know nothing about the state other than that its residents are the butt of many bad jokes. I assume there is more to it than that!

Two years in NYC....what part of town were you in? I lived downtown on East 11th, between 5th and University.

What the heck goes on in West Virginia? Tell me the jokes are exaggerations....

Hey Gary. Yes, I am from Hamilton. I went to Notre Dame High School and the College of New Jersey. Lived in NYC for a few years while attending law school. But, for me, it seems all roads lead back to Jersey!

Are you also a Hamilton native? or a transplant? And, if a transplant, what brought you to Hamilton?

Hi Gary. I just joined NJYP in hopes of meeting some new friends in the area. I live in Hamilton and have been keeping an eye out for members living in Hamilton and the surrounding areas. I see that you just joined and are also from Hamilton. I haven't made it out to any of the events yet. But, am planning on attending something soon. Maybe I'll see you around.
