Hi all!  I work in NYC and am hoping to make the NYC happy hour on September 15, but as of right now I'm not too sure I can come =/ I arranged a happy hour a couple weeks ago in Bridgewater NJ and it worked out really well, so giving NYC a try now :) Anyone up for meeting somewhere near Penn Station for happy hour either that Tuesday 9/14? I can be there either day around 5:30 since I just take the R train up from 9th and Broadway.

Looking forward to meeting everyone :) Sadly I really don't know anyone my age who works in NYC--and I've been working at the same place for 5 yrs!

I'm on facebook too so feel free to look me up and friend away. Just mention you're from NJYP since I tend to avoid requests from people I don't know.

If you do it on Tuesday I might be able to meet up. I've been in the City for many, many years. Keep me posted.
I will be headed in to the city to see a concert on the 14th. it would be cool to combine it with a happy hour. let me know. i could probably make it there by 5:30 too.
Wow Stacy I had NO idea you worked in NYC! I do too! Just say the word & I should be able to go.
While I only wish I worked in the city, I ought to be there that day for a conference and would love to meet up with folks.
Keep me posted. I work in the city as well and am always up for happy hour before the long train ride home.
Hi Stacy,

Leading the Jersey commuter invasion, huh? :)

I know it's a weeknight so how late are you guys going to be around? I have meetings in in the city that day so I'd love to swing by, but it'll probably be after 8pm...

Also, any ideas for a venue? It's been a long long time since I've been there, but Local is right across from Penn Station and it's probably the closest thing to a rooftop lounge in the area: http://www.localcafenyc.com/

Keep me posted!
Local looks interesting.. anyone interested in meeting for drinks - wed/thurs this week?
I'll be loitering in the city Wednesday and Thursday, looks like I will miss out on Tuesday.
