A few folks and I were discussing this year's Bamboozle lineup at the Happy Hour last night.  I wanted to post here to see if anyone else in the NJYP world was planning on attending this year.  I'm particularly interested in the Saturday show on April 30th  :)

Check out the website at www.thebamboozle.com for the lineups and let me know via comment or message if you are interested in going!

Def going :)

Hey Jenna,

I'm thinking about going either the 30th or the 1st..or both if i can afford it (probably not). I think I'm liking the lineup for Sat better than Sun tho..so if I had to choose it'll prolly be Saturday. But I guess it all depends on whether I can find people to go with...lol. guess we'll see. :)

Which bands are you looking forward to seeing?

Jenna,

THANK YOU for posting this! This is the first I'm hearing about Bamboozle and it sounds awesome! I'm liking the lineups on the 29th and 30th...off the top of my head, I'm excited about 30 seconds to mars, dev, and anberlin.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that I'll most likely go on those two days :D

I will 100% be going to the Saturday show, time is TBD but they always post the performance times well enough in advance to figure it out.  I'm most interested in seeing Anberlin, Breathe Carolina, FTSK, New Found Glory, Plain White T's, RX Bandits, Movielife, Taking Back Sunday, and YMAEWK!  I'll be looking more into the rest of the bands to see if there are any others that I want to make sure to see on Saturday.

I'd def be interested in car pooling there with anyone since parking is ridiculously expensive.  I live in Chatham, but I know some places near Meadowlands that we can easily meet to park our cars and just take one vehicle to the show.

I'm debating going the other days.  Friday also looks like a good lineup- 30 Seconds to Mars, FTSK again, Mayday Parade, Travie McCoy, We The Kings, and the bands doing Hoodwink are always fun.  And I am kinda diggin on Bruno Mars for Sunday.

Friday's ticket is $48 with taxes/fees, Saturday and Sunday tickets come out to about $66 per day.  A 3 Day Pass comes out to $120.  So, I am actually contemplating a 3 Day Pass at the moment.  Also, a note about this year's ticketing-- according to the website, prices will get higher closer to the concert date ("similar to airline ticketing" is how they put it).  So I'll likely get tickets by Sunday.

Let me know if any of you are definitely interested in going together and I can set up the details once the performance times are announced   :)

I want to see Anberlin, Alkaline Trio (maybe), Gaslight Anthem, Dashboard Confessional, New Found Glory, Plain White T's, and maybe The Ready Set. For Sunday, I would really like to see Bruno Mars (<3 him).

I'm thinking about getting the 3 day pass (it's def cheaper if you wanna go more than 1 day)..and like Jenna, I'll probably purchase my tix this weekend.  I'd definitely be interested in carpooling - maybe we can all meet up @Clifton Commons - It's along the way, and there's plenty of parking there.

(ooh..just re-read Jenna's post - We The Kings is actually pretty decent live (saw them at Warped Tour last summer) ..so Friday is now an option too. lol.)

Wow, the 3 day pass does seem like a better idea! Ok, I'll get my tix soon (today or tomorrow)
My friend's band (Scarlet Carson) is supposed to be playing on May 1 but I don't see them listed :(  If they're still on, i'm definitely in!

Bamboozle kills me every year because there are always bands playing all 3 days that I want to see but I don't know if I want to spend 8+ hours outside rain or shine standing around to see the ones I want. However the good thing about these kinds of shows, you always discover new bands.

Bands that I would like to see:

Friday: 30 Seconds to Mars, We the Kings, New Found Glory

Saturday: Alkaline Trio, Anberlin, Dashboard Confessional, Plain White T's and there are a few bands that I've heard of but I don't know if I like their stuff like The Ready Set, Streetlight Manifesto

Sunday: Runner Runner. Been friends with these guys for over a year now and even if you don't like their music there is just something about these guys. They are some of the sweetest/funniest people I have ever met. They are on tour now and I'm going to see them next week in NYC. If anyone would like to go check 'em out with me let me know.

Side note from Bamboozle. Another BIG show was announced this week but this one is a bit of a trek for most of you guys because it's in South Jersey. 3 Doors Down, Seether, Papa Roach, Alter Bridge, Finger 11, Sick Puppies, Rev Theory, and Apocalyptica. It's May 22 at Susquenhanna Bank Center

Just saw the line-up of the 30th. I'm a huge Gaslight fan. And I like Alkaline Trio. What are the chances that those two bands will play a show together around that time? Jenna - you're definitely right about Saturday's line-up being the better one.
I'm def going to Bamboozle! :) just not sure what day(s) yet...also Dat i'll go to that convert with u in south jersey if you want

Not too crazy about 3 doors down, but everyone else on this lineup is AMAZING. I'm already planning on seeing Alter Bridge in NY on the 19th, so this will just be icing on an awesome rock cake!! Keep me in the loop about this one!
