Event Description

So sorry but we are going to cancel it.  There were 18 RSVPs but only 14 bought tickets.

This private class will stimulate your taste buds and brain cells alike.  It will begin with a mystery wine, served as soon as you arrive. You and your co-mingling YPs will use what you know to guess what variety of grapes were utilized.  Everyone will then grab a seat, the answer will be revealed, and the fun, interactive lesson on how to analyze a glass of wine will begin.  Expect to taste 5 wines, mingle with 30 local YPs, and to receive a 30 minute, stimulating lesson.  At the end of the evening all will optionally buy wine before heading to a nearby BYOB restaurant for dinner and/or dessert.

Is this still happening tomorrow night?  If not, I will make plans to rearrange my sock drawer...

Buy your tix people!  RSVPing does not count as a commitment.  If all 14 on the guest list bought their tix (instead of waiting around) this event would be ON!

This is a good Italian place that I believe can easily handle large parties, that is of course if the event doesn't get canceled.

If you want cheap tastings, the place to go is the finger lakes.  A lot of the vineyards up there have tastings for $2-$5 and you can try all of the wines in some places for that price.  Of course from NJ you probably need to make it an overnight or long weekend which kills the price advantage, but there is a reason they say Ithaca is Gorges :)
