Branchbrook Park Cherry Blossom Festival, April 9-17

Spring is just around the corner, I hope... so check out Branchbrook Park in Newark, NJ. It has one of the largest collection of cherry blossom trees, more than Washington, DC.

On April 17th is the Branch Brook Park Cherry Blossom Festival Bloomfest, there will be all kinds of activities, vendors and Japanese cultural events.

this sounds great! I'd love to go. There's also another one in Brooklyn, but for distance reasons, I've never made it to that one (yet).

Sunday it is. When should we meet up at? I'd like to at least catch the Opening Ceremony at 1:00 PM. So the latest would be 12:45. If other people would like to get there early, we can schedule two times (I would consider going there earlier for the food stands).
