Video Professional Wanted

10-12 week project

- Film and edit 200 instructional videos ( videos will range from 30 seconds to 5 minutes in length)
- Must be available in-house 3 days per week during the project
- Must be able to demonstrate skills in the following:
a. Video and Audio Editing
b. Ability to add background graphics and effects. We will provide green background, we are looking for your skills, software and camera equipment

Software:

Our client located in Edison NJ is seeking a Technical Resource for an immediate opportunity.

 

The Tier II team consists of technical experts who interact with clients and many internal groups on a daily basis. The team provides technical product support to both internal and external customers, who use or support the use of RAVETM. The Tier II Team receives issues that the Tier I team could not solve. The team’s purpose is twofold. Initially to ensure that the information sent by the tier I team is accurate and properly tracked and ready for advanced troubleshooting. The Tier II team often reaches out to customers to get any additional information needed and attempt to resolve escalated issues. When resolution cannot be reached the Tier II team properly packages the correct information and manages its triage throughout the different functional areas (Tier III) to ensure Tier II groups have the appropriate information and can communicate in between each other effectively to reach the quickest and most effective resolution possible.

 

The Support Services Technical Specialist is a seasoned analyst who has a proven record of satisfying clients. He/She is a reference point for the entire team on various application topics and is able to resolve most of the items escalated from the Tier I team. He/She takes an active role in ensuring that any escalation outside the Tier II team is handled promptly and effectively by the different functional areas (Tier III).

 

Responsibility Overview:

  • Respond to telephone, email and fax inquiries from external and internal clients
  • Monitor and ensure 100% accuracy of all escalations and work requests throughout the day and consistently resolve, de-escalate, or further escalate within the required client Service Level Agreements
  • Coordinate issue resolution efforts with other departments to ensure timely and efficient resolutions are met and customer satisfaction is upheld
  • Maintain proper tracking of problem resolution for reference and management reporting
  • Develop new internal Standard Operating Procedure documents
  • Take part in the creation and maintenance of knowledgebase data
  • Take total ownership of an issue and see it through to completion.
  • Reproduce technical problems, diagnose causes, identify temporary and long-term solutions and communicate status updates to clients
  • Support web applications and the browsers through which they are accessed
  • Distinguish between application, operating system, network, and hardware problems, with an understanding of IT systems design, analysis, and integrations.
  • Ability to Present complex technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Review system metrics and help identify performance tuning needs.
  • Continually increase Subject Matter knowledge on all core systems
  • Interact with other teams to ensure application efficiency, effectiveness and conformance with regulatory and legislative controls
  • Be available for a weekly on-call rotation for off-hour Critical Issues escalation.

Summary: Coordinates all Corporate Surgeon Education Training events.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following as well as other duties that may be assigned:

  • Maintains Calendars for Corporate Marquis Visits
  • Communication with sales representatives, Sales Management, and corporate
  • Coordinates all travel logistics for surgeons, physician’s assistants and sales reps with extraordinary attention to details

JOB TITLE:                              Converged Systems Engineer

 

 The Converged Systems Engineer must have a broad range of experience and expertise in application, operating system, and advanced network troubleshooting.  Engineers are experts in specific products and provide expertise to problem identification, troubleshooting, and resolution.  The Converged Systems Engineers will be responsible for providing third-level support to our customers via escalations from Pod 1 or Pod 2.  Production control and delivery of enhanced service solutions (i.e., Managed Services) is the primary focus of this position.  Regular activities include as; firmware management, scheduling and performing patch and service pack upgrades; conducting scheduled backups of customer systems; and support of implementation projects for ICON and other monitoring systems.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 

  • Log all customer requests for support into the Navision problem management system with accurate, clear, and concise language
  • Conduct review of InfoPlus traffic studies on a scheduled basis to help customers understand how to interpret the findings and formulate recommendations for improving how their system functions
  • Analyze and resolve support requests according to the service level agreements with the customer, escalating when necessary
  • Troubleshoot the cause of problems, not just the symptoms, taking action to prevent problems from recurring
  • Use expert knowledge of specialty applications to provide support to customers on specialty applications. (One-X, Flare, SIP, etc.)
  • Maintain visibility of open tickets queue and actively work tickets in personal workbench
  • Provide professional technical support to our customers emphasizing customer service
  • Provide training and mentoring to Pods 1 and 2 technicians when feasible and encourage them to follow proper procedures while assisting them to learn new troubleshooting skills
  • Keep management informed of trends, significant problems and expected delays
  • Responsible for managing highly complex system issues through to resolution which may include the use of advanced troubleshooting tool and/or applying programmatic changes to resolve the issue
  • Log hours and work performed utilizing appropriate tools (Taske, etc.)
  • Participate in knowledge base authoring and publishing for use within the department
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in technical field preferred.

 

Work experience:  5+ years of technical support experience and extensive knowledge of VoIP fundamentals required.  Cisco (CCNA or CCNP) and Avaya (i.e., ACA, ACS, ACE, or ACIS) certifications required.

The successful candidate will perform database administration and system support for development, test and production environments. The candidate will perform for day-to-day database tasks such as upgrades, installations and maintenance jobs.
