Are there any skiers/ snowboarders on NJYP? Anyone interested in weekend trips to East Coast resorts such as Mt Snow, Loon, etc?

Hey Frank, I hope you are doing well. I used to Ski a long time ago, but would be interested to hear about any events. Please let me know. Thank you.

Hey! My goal for this winter is to learn to snowboard, so anyone willing to deal with a beginner beginner would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michelle - I've been wanting to learn to snowboard too - I took a lesson a few years ago but didn't get very far (I could never even stand up on the board) so if a trip is organized we can keep each other company at least!

Hey Laura - Sounds like a good plan.

Hey Devin - Thanks! Yes, this weather isn't looking good for the season so far.

Devin - weren't you present the last time I tried snowboarding??  haha

Anyone planning to ride Mtn Creek this Friday (30th)? I know it's not a fan fav amongst many people here, but a couple of us will be there.

Hi Devin - yes, I went with Sara.  Anyway, keep me posted.  I purchased padding so I'm ready and looking forward to another day of falling on my rear-end when conditions improve!

I can go on the 7th (during the day - going to the B&W party at night) and maybe on the 4th.  I have off this week but am hoping to spend the day in the city on Wednesday.

Couple of my friends will be @ Mtn Creek on Sunday morning. I know it's not a fav mtn for most here, but feel free to join us.

I am a cautious intermediate skier and have my own boots and skis. I have only skied in VT, NY and CO so I would be interested in checking out Blue Mountain, Camelback or Mountain Creek.

in case anyone is interested - there's a deal on Living Social - end tomorrow I think for Mt. Snow.

I want to drive out to Blue Mountain tomorrow (2/11). The conditions should be good, as they expect some snowfall today. Is anybody interested to join?
