I haven't been to an Indian restaurant in a while (partly because I have a hard time trying to convince friends to go to one); and I've had a bit of a craving recently.

I have heard good things about a place in Lawrenceville (a little Southwest of Princeton) called Passage to India:

...drop a note, if anyone is interested in grabbing a meal there sometime (or anywhere else for that matter).

I'd be interested in going. July 11 works for me but I'm pretty open.
oh- man, Jluly 31st is bad after all. Maybe Aug 1st then?
or....July 17th?
My friends hoodwinked me into going to the skirt and tie party in New Brunswick later that day, so it's probably in my own best interest to put some food in my belly before hitting the bar that evening.

So, my plan is firm for the time being...

PALACE OF ASIA
SUNDAY, 11 July 2010
LUNCH c. 1PM

Let me know, if anyone is interested in meeting up then/there.

And it's also worth noting that I'm normally not one to turn down an invitation to eat, so 17 July or 01 Aug. would still be on the table as well.

July 11th does not work for me but July 17th could work out.
Lawrenceville, isn't around the corner from me. But I couldn't help noticing about Indian food. If your stomach can handle Curry and lots of Curry, then all Indian food is ok in my opinion. I get that right in my own backyard- I work for Indians. And when they want to share- it's right there for me.

Enjoy your meals out together for all who venture out!!!
Any update if this is happening on the 11th or the 17th?
I've been to Palace of Asia and it's really good. This sounds like fun. I'm in. :)
Hey guys - have some recommendations from my boss (who's Indian herself):

Hoysala in Somerset
Moghul in Edison/Iselin
Mehandi in Morristown

Enjoy - Indian food is yummy!
I love PoA, but I've been there so many times, a new place would be nice. The one in Somerset would be great- For me, though, July isn't too doable anymore. :-( If anyone is up for Hoysala in August, that would be great.

oh- I've been to Moghul...but wasn't super crazy about it. Akbar is really good (near Menlo Park mall), but very fancy. More of a 'date' place imho. lol
Is this still happening on Sunday? I'm interested...
