Yup, laid off from my full-time day job (I teach part time at 2 colleges in the fall) and enjoying the free time, spending a lot of time at the beach (working hard... on my tan!). Not in the Montclair area, I'm down here in Ocean County. But I can definitely relate, and am available for any activities during the day. :-)
what beach do you go to ?
Well not really unemployed, just unemployed during the summer. I am in Clark which is not so close, but always looking to check out different things. I usually go to the city.
I'm not unemployed anymore (at least for now, may be a different story in a month :-/ ) but I'm still down for hanging out. Keep me posted.
ughh...was laid off from my job Early March, I thankfully have some freelance jobs coming in, but for the most part it's a bummer. Sometimes i'm in that area, maybe we can all hang out get together and talk about The MAN and his cruel game, LOL.
Don't leave your money with your past employer. I can help you rollover your 401k into an IRA. Contact me - Fred
I'm off during the summer so am free during the days for a get together. Keep me posted. :-)
I'm currently not working, and in Lodi which is closeby.
About sharing unemployment woes, the news has that covered..........BUT if you want to do something constructive - get in shape playing tennis or know of a pool close by - then, sure, I'll meet up.
I am down for any outdoor activities from just paddling around the pond central park to a game of tennis or rollerblading =) I love this warm summer weather. I am heading out this evening to play, or try to play tennis although I am a complete beginnner.
