Event Description

Often as the day turns into night the animals come out! For that reason this hike will start late in the day and end at dusk. While traveling along we will be on the look-out for deer, wild turkeys, and maybe even some fawn (awwwwww). Eh, but even if you we don't spot some furry critters there will be "panoramic view[s] over Paterson, Bergen County and the New York City skyline." So join us for this hike that will begin when the sun is low in the sky and end just before dark.

Specs:
The hike is classified as easy to moderate and is about 2.2 miles long.
The hike should take 1.5-2 hours.

I was looking forward to meeting everyone who has signed up and was going. This would of been my 1st event for NJYP.

As much as it pains me to say it, today's hike will be cancelled. I came back from hiking here in the rain this morning and it was dirty/moist/sweaty experience. Though the weather began to clear up after noon, the forecast doesn't look as promising. I wouldn't want you guys to be stuck in the middle of heavy downpour. Again, I'm sorry about this. I hope to reschedule this event in the near future!!

We are not yet sure if we are going to have to cancel this hike. Please check the COMMENT area ABOVE at around 1pm to find out. Noah will be leaving the comment as I will not have access to the email.

Hey all, this hike will be a great experience for anyone who loves animals! Last time I was there, we were able to get up close and personal with deer. The view of NYC is beautiful on a clear day and worth checking out! See you then!!
