Event Description

Our female only hikes are for women and lead by women! Expand your girlfriend circle by meeting up with local, young women who enjoy the outdoors.

This hike is a great intro to hiking! We'll hike about 3 miles with small uphills and downhills. The trail will take us by the beautiful Black River where we will enjoy a river walk for a while and even a little waterfall. If you like bird watching, Hacklebarney also offers a home for over 100 species of birds, depending on the season. After the hike those who are hungry or thirsty will go out for lunch as a group.

Specs:
The hike is classified as easy but it has some uphill and downhill spots.
The total length of the hike will be about 3 miles long.
We will walk at an easy pace so that beginners will not feel rushed.
The hike should take 2-2.5 hours.
As with all hikes you must be in good, athletic shape.

Lori- Usually everyone snacks while on the hike then after they get real food/drinks at a restaurant.

This is one of my most favorite hikes, it's not difficult by nature but I like to give it my own little twist, will share with you all soon.
Can't wait!

If you can, pack a lunch or snack, I have a perfect spot to enjoy a little picnic - optional

Important!: Please, Please and again PLEASE wear hiking boots or firm shoes, absolutely no sandals on this hike
